My Country is INDONESIA





     Indonesia, or Republic of Indonesia or RI is a country in Southeast Asia, which crossed the Equator and lying between Asia and Australia and between the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. Indonesia is the world's largest archipelago country which comprises 13.487 island. Because it is the largest archipelago in the world, my country also known as nusantara. Indonesia is the fourth largest populous country in the world and the country's second largest Muslim population in the world after India. My country has a total area of 1,904,569 km2. In my country, we put the currency of rupiah. My country has 3 time zones: West Indonesia Time (WIB), Central Indonesia Time (WITA), and Eastern Indonesia Time (WIT).
     Indonesia's form of Government is a Republic. Indonesia has three foundation : The foundation of ideology is Pancasila, The foundation of constitutional is UUD 1945, and The foundation of visional is insight archipelago. The capital city of Indonesia is Jakarta. Indonesian independence was proclaimed on August 17, 1945. Official language of Indonesia is bahasa indonesia. Until now Indonesia has had 6 Presidents and 11 Vice Presidents. List of Presidents of Indonesia are: Soekarno (1945-1967), Soeharto (1967-1998), Baharuddin Jusuf Habibie (1998-1999), Abdurrahman Wahid (1999-2001), Megawati Soekarnoputri (2001-2004), Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (2004-2014/now).

     List of Vice Presidents of Indonesia are : Mohammad Hatta (1945-1956), Hamengkubuwono IX (1973-1978), Adam Malik (1978-1983), Umar Wirahadikusumah (1983-1988), Soedharmono(1988-1993), Try Sutrisno (1993-1998), Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie (1998-1998), Megawati Soekarnoputri (1999-2001), Hamzah Haz (2001-2004), Muhammad Jusuf Kalla (2004-2009), Boediono (2009-2014/now). Indonesia has 33 provincial capital. 5 of the 33 provinces, have special status as Special Areas, among others: Aceh, Jakarta, Papua, Papua Barat, dan Yogyakarta.
     33 provincial are : Banda Aceh (Aceh), Medan (North Sumatera), Padang (West Sumatera), Pekanbaru (Riau), Jambi, Palembang (South Sumatera), Bengkulu, Bandar Lampung (Lampung), Pangkal Pinang (Bangka Belitung Islands), Tanjung Pinang (Riau Islands), Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Bandung (West Java), Semarang (Central Java), Surabaya (East Java), Serang (Banten), Denpasar (Bali), Kupang (NTT), Mataram (NTB), Pontianak (West Kalimantan), Palangkaraya (Central Kalimantan), Banjarmasin (South Kalimantan), Samarinda (East Kalimantan), Tanjung Selor (North Kalimantan), Manado (North Sulawesi), Palu (Central Sulawesi), Makassar (South Sulawesi), Kendari (Southeast Sulawesi), Mamuju (West Sulawesi), Gorontalo, Ambon (Maluku), Sofifi (North Maluku), Jayapura (Papua), Manokwari (West Papua).
