South Korea






     Now I will discuss about the country of South Korea. But I was limited to only discuss about the country :). South Korea is a country in East Asia that includes the southern part of the peninsula of Korea. To the North is North Korea. Formerly united the two countries until 1948. South korea's official name is the Republic of Korea. The total area of ​​100,032 km2 south korea. Government took the form of the Republic. South korea's currency is the South Korean won. Official languages of South korea's Han gul. The capital of South korea is Seoul.
     Korean has 3200 islands large and small. Korea most widely practiced religion is Atheism, Buddhism, Christianity, Katoik, Islam, Other Religions, Won Buddhism, Confucianism, and Cheondoisme. South Korea has four seasons: summer, winter, spring, and autumn. Korean flag is called TEAGUKKI. The flag was designed by "yin-yang".
      South Korea has one special city, 6 metropolitan cities and 9 provinces. Cities in South Korea is Seoul. Metropolitan city located in south korea is Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Daejeon, and Ulsan. Province located in south korea is Gyeonggi, Gangwon, North Chungcheong, South Chuncheong, North Jeolla, South Jeolla, North Gyeongsang, South Gyeongsang, and Jeju.
      South Korea has 11 presidents. South Korean presidents names list:

     Now i will discuss about  culture of south korea. Hanok is Korean traditional house. The traditional society of Korea choose residence based on geomancy. Geomancy influence the shape of the building, direction, as well as the materials used to build it. Korean garden is the shape or design of traditional Korean garden. Although strongly influenced Korean garden Chinese garden concepts, architectures has its own uniqueness. Korean traditional dress called a Hanbok Korean cuisine is influenced by the form of their farming culture. Staple food is rice. The main result of the Korean people is farming rice, wheat and beans. Was abundant seafood such as fish, squid and shrimp, because Korea surrounded by three ocean. Culinary Korea largely formed from fermented which has been developing since long. An example is the kimchi and doenjang. Fermented foods are very useful in providing protein and vitamins during the winter.
